Water Protectors - Girl Scout Program

Girl Scout Program

Central Basin Municipal Water District has developed a pilot program tailored to Girl Scouts located within the District's disadvantaged service area to teach them about the value and importance of water while earning their badges and journeys.  The program includes a tour of the Sanitation Districts of Los Angeles County and lessons on how water is delivered to homes, what recycled water is and how it is used, and how water can be saved. The program will be coming to selected areas soon. For more information please contact Sandi Linares-Plimpton at sandilp@centralbasin.org or (323) 201-5511.
