Director of Human Resources

Naja Braddock currently serves as part of the senior management team, as the Director of Human Resources. She is responsible in developing and directing a wide range of Human Resources programs and policies to advance and maintain effective employee relations, recruitment and training, organization development, in addition to participating in strategic development and planning for the District.

Naja joined the District in December 2019 with more than 15 years of experience in Human Resource Management. Previously, she worked as the Director of Human Resources for Gorman Learning Charter Network, a nonprofit public charter school serving TK-12th grade students.  As Director of Human Resources, with over 300 employees and 2,600+ students, Naja successfully introduced new benefit and compensation programs, implemented a new payroll and Human Resources Information System and streamlined processes resulting in cost savings. She prides herself as being a leader who communicates effectively and connects well with all employees as well as with external clients and agencies.  Prior to working at Gorman Learning Charter Network, Naja worked at the University of California, Riverside for 15 years in the Political Science Department, English Department and the Department of Comparative Literature & Foreign Languages and Hispanic Studies.

Naja holds a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Redlands with a concentration in Global Business, as well as a Bachelor's degree from Arizona State University in Business Management, with a specialization in Human Resources.  She is also a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and the Inland Empire Public Management Association, Human Resources (IEPMA-HR).
